Growth Technology's BetterGrow Perlite is sterile, lightweight and very porous. It is produced from a naturally-occurring volcanic rock, heated to 1000C until it expands like a kind of 'volcanic popcorn'. It is stable, long-lasting and neither alkaline nor acidic. The BetterGrow perlite can be used with all soil types, and with all plants to aid drainage, soil aeration and promote a healthier root system.
